Columbia depression glass was made by the Federal Glass Company from 1938 to 1942. It’s beaded design almost reminds me of Imperial Candlewick.  Most Columbia  items you will find are crystal however, some  items have been found in pink.  The pink items are pretty rare finds.

Made from 1928-1933 the Federal Glass Company Colonial Fluted  pattern is a great choice for those on a budget. If your looking to purchase for regular use Colonial Fluted is a good choice. Moderately priced and available Colonial Fluted has a very nice depression glass look. It came in crystal and green with the green being the collected color. Crystal Colonial Fluted is very inexpensive but somewhat boring.

Colonial Block was manufactured by the Hazel Atlas glass company during the 1930′s. I t was available in green, black, crystal, and pink. A run of white Colonial Block was made during the 1950′s. Green is the easier color to find. Colonial Block has a small selection of pieces and they are mostly serving pieces. Colonial Block would be a great pattern to compliment a period china set.

The Colonial depression glass pattern is sometimes refered to as  ”Knife and Fork” by collectors. It was made by the Hocking glass company from 1934 until 1938. It came in crystal, pink, green and an opaque white.  pink and green are the popular colors with collectors. In these colors mugs and the butter dish with cover are very rare and fetch premium prices.
