Antiques and collectibles have been a serious interest of mine since the 1960’s when I realized how beautiful and unique each item I came across was. The fun of the treasure hunt - going to auctions, antique shops and estate sales - became something of an obsession over the years until finally, I had collected too much to keep! My true calling is in antique glass, depression and elegant glass of the 1920’s-1960’s.

This is probably a similar story to so many collectors out there. Over the past 15 years, I have rented space at the Ballston Spa Antique Center located in Ballston Spa, New York. The Center provided a venue to offer my eclectic selection of items for sale, including glass (elegant, depression and EAPG), pottery, sterling silver, silverplate, fountain pens, collectible toys and whatever else I am able to “unearth”.

Early in 1998, nearly 10 years ago, I started selling items on the Ebay auction site, and that led to the start of my home-based business. So here I am with the help of my son, setting up a website and sharing my thoughts on various antique and collectible items, but mostly depression and elegant glass.

I am not a professional appraiser, and claim no professional expertize on each item or category of anyitem. However, I will use this venue to share information that I have collected over the years. I hope you find it helpful.
