Sandwich pattern depression glass was manufactured by the Indiana Glass company from the 1920′s until the 1980′s. A very collectable pattern it has a large following. Sandwich is a depression glass pattern that has lasted well past the depression era. It’s a timeless design that really gets collectors attention.

Made in many colors some had different production years as listed below;

Amber: late 1920′s to 1980′s

Crystal: late 1920′s till present

Teal Blue: 1950′s till 1980′s

Milk White: Mid 1950′s

Red: 1933 and again from 1969-1970′s (some of the 1933 items are marked for the Chicago World’s Fair)

Smokey Blue: 1976-1977

Pink: 1920′s-1930′s

Green: 1920′s-1930′s

As you can see there are many different colors and periods to choose from. It’s a pattern that for the most part remains affordable.
