Sandwich pattern depression glass was manufactured by the Indiana Glass company from the 1920’s until the 1980’s. A very collectable pattern it has a large following. Sandwich is a depression glass pattern that has lasted well past the depression era. It’s a timeless design that really gets collectors attention.

Made in many colors some had different production years as listed below;

Amber: late 1920’s to 1980’s

Crystal: late 1920’s till present

Teal Blue: 1950’s till 1980’s

Milk White: Mid 1950’s

Red: 1933 and again from 1969-1970’s (some of the 1933 items are marked for the Chicago World’s Fair)

Smokey Blue: 1976-1977

Pink: 1920’s-1930’s

Green: 1920’s-1930’s

As you can see there are many different colors and periods to choose from. It’s a pattern that for the most part remains affordable.
